I make book covers using printed pages on 32 lb paper with 10 mil laminating pouches, so have reached the maximum capacity for the laminator. Ive been trying different laminators but decided upon this one because it has a sensor that can sense the thickness and choose the appropriate setting to laminate on. It does leave a glue line, sometimes two that have to be cleaned off when not using a cover sheet.

The Manual has folded already. I bought this new (sold and shipped by Amazon). It is super easy and does a fantastic job. The only real complaint I have - and my message to you - is this: DO NOT REGISTER YOUR PRODUCT WITH FELLOWES!!! I would recommend to use a carrier sheet. Yes it is pricey BUT it is so worth it! For thicker documents, you may need to change to a thinner pouch. WHERE CAN I BUY GXL 125 FELLOWES LAMINATOR? Box taped uncleanly. Temperature is not hot enough. If the document has an end outside the laminator, hold the reverse button down for at least 20 seconds. When the lamination starts to come out of the machine, gently pull the material whilst still holding the reverse button down. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. A little pricey but when you laminate as much as teachers do it's worth every penny. 
So, it's definitely been refurbished. Check the pouch thickness does not exceed the maximum thickness for the machine. 
Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. Check Fuse in plug and at power connection on machine. But if it shows any sign of performance degradation, I'll return it.

This laminator is really nice - heavy-duty, laminates 10-mil with carrier pouch no problem, smooth and quiet. But it just left a bad taste. I did this, thinking I needed to make sure my warranty was in place. Check power is turned on at plug and at machine (on/off switch).

This machine heats up fast, and laminates even up to 10 mil beautifully on the first pass. If you cant vary the machine settings, try using a thicker pouch. If the document is retrieved run a sheet of white cardboard through the laminator 2 or 3 times to absorb any pouch residue that may be left on the rollers. 
Temperature is too hot. Please run white card (between 160 300gsm) through the machine to absorb any residue on the rollers. 
Don't have to run work through it twice just to be sure it's done right. Check the setting is correct for the pouch being used. Switch the machine to cold and ensure that the machine is in a well-ventilated area. 
It is now less than 24 hours later, and the e-mail address I used (which I hadn't used for almost anything else in months) has now suddenly been bombarded with spam! 
The main cause of this is due to the machine being jammed.
